The future of Nordic power market cooperation

Næringslivets hus, Middelthuns gate 27, Møterom Sinnataggen
This is a free event: 0 kr

The Nordic countries have a long history of a well-functioning and integrated power market, based on mutual trust and cooperation, as well as efficient use of Nordic power resources. With high political ambitions on electrification, green industry and decarbonization of the European power sector, both the Nordic and the European power system are changing. We are expecting increasingly volatile prices that vary with weather conditions. How can we prepare for these changes by building on the good foundation of Nordic cooperation?

Together with NordEnergi, Renewables Norway are publishing a whitepaper that headlines some important measures that could help reduce price volatility and prepare the power market for the changes we are facing with increased power demand and more variable power production in our system. Please join us, either physically or online, as we dive into the important subject of Nordic power cooperation.

This event is organized in collaboration with NordEnergi, Cicero and other key actors from the power industry as part of the Evolve project. For further details please visit:
